Just a quick note to let you know that Netflix is now
officially available in Australia.<br>

<b>What can you watch?</b><br>

show at any time.<br>

<br>
Your ordinary TV, computer, tablet, iPhone, Android phone,
Apple TV, Smart TV or Chromecast.<br>

<b>How much does it cost?</b><br>
<br>
Starts at $9 a month for one screen, $12 for two screens at
once in HD, $15 for four screens at once.<br>
<br>
Note: It uses a lot of Internet too, so best for unlimited or
generous ADSL or NBN plans. Might work on Satellite too.<br>
<br>
<b>Don't understand? Want a demo?</b><br>
<br>
I can show you how to use it by giving you a demonstration. (I
carry an Apple TV around with me.)<br>
<br>
You get the first month free too, so you can give it a shot
without paying a thing.<br>
<br>
If you already have WiFi but don't have a Smart TV, you can
either buy an Apple TV for around $110 or a ChromeCast for
$50. These little things plug in to your TV and turn it into a
"Smart TV".<br>
<br>
The Apple TV comes with a handy remote control, or you can use
your iPhone to send what you're watching to the TV. The
Chromecast uses your phone / tablet as the remote control.<br>
<br>
Alternatively, most recent laptops can plug into your TV using
an HDMI cable. (Useful for ABC iView and pirated downloads as
well.)<br>
<br>
<b>The show I want isn't available?</b><br>
<br>
There are other streaming services you can try. Or pirate it
if your constitution allows.<br>
<br>
<b>Your WiFi is too weak to reach the TV.</b><br>
<br>
I have a number of solutions including Ethernet over Power
adapters, WiFi range extenders, etc.<br>
<br>
<b>YouTube doesn't work well for you?</b><br>
<br>
Netflix has a better streaming system than YouTube. Give it a
try anyway, it might work.<br>
<br>
