[CCC News] Some very sad news.

Hello Dear Friends.

It is with great sadness that I write to let you know that my partner, 
Val, has been diagnosed as having a tumour on one of her lungs, and 
another on her brain. They were not visible a few months ago when she 
had her stroke.

She needs assistance to walk, has lost partial use of her right leg and 
arm, and takes between 4 and ten times as long as usual to communicate. 
She has resigned from work.

Biopsy in Tamworth on Tuesday before we can work out a path for treatment.

Almost overnight, I have changed from IT Consultant to nearly full time 
carer. I regret that there will likely be significant delays in 
responding to your calls for help.

Please treasure your loved ones - things can change so damn quickly :'(

She does not deserve this.

when I am able.
